Job Description:
We are seeking an individual with strong website front-end development skills to join our team. We specialize in music products for internet and mobile. We have couple of new web applications in pipeline that we want to be user-friendly and on par with industry competitors. We have a technically strong team that is working on the server-side aspect of the projects. You'll work closely with creative and backend teams to deliver cutting edge projects. The system consists of object oriented PHP over a highly normalized database with jQuery for data validation and Ajax communications.
If you have strong jQuery, CSS, xHTML development experience, and are the type of individual that can hit the ground running, then we would like to hear from you. Please send us your resume, a short description of your recent projects, and your compensation requirements.Responsibilities
Advice and participate in front end development of new products
Assist lead developer and designer to roll out new features of our websites
Closely work with the management to improve usability of the site
Ensure cross-browser compatibility (ie6+, ff2+, safari 3+)
Skills Required:
xHTML and CSS development experience
jQuery client-side validation and presentation
Ajax using jQuery data communication
Object Oriented PHP website development
Familiarity with version control system (SVN)
Results oriented and schedule driven
Ability to work independently and willing to self-educate in emerging web technologies
Skills in HTML5, mobile coding or CSS3 is preferable, but not essential
