| Deputy Chief of Party (Lahore) Posted: We are in the process of implementing a 5-year USAID Cooperative Agreement on "Assessment and Strengthening Programme of Government of Pakistan and Civil Society Organizations". For this reason we require competent individuals for the following position: Deputy Chief of Party Responsibilities: - Identifying/validating institutional capacity issues in target organizations in the areas of organisational governance, financial management and overall organisational management; - Developing capacity building plans for targeted institutions/organizations and supervising the implementation of these plans; - Evaluating monitoring and evaluation efforts for both performance and compliance; - Ensuring effective communication, sharing and learning within the ASP team; - Providing support to Chief of Party (COP) in ensuring compliance with the policy and legislative requirements of USAID as stipulated under the cooperative agreement; and - Undertaking any other duties assigned by the COP. Requirements: - CA/MBA or a Master's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institute; - At least 12 years of relevant experience; - Knowledge of public financial management; codes and rules of business applicable to government and non-government organisations with respect to financial management, accounting, procurement management, disclosure and regulatory compliance; and - Demonstrated experience of managing various components of institutional development and capacity building of government and civil society organizations.
