Technician (Machinist & Bench Fitter) (Karachi) Posted: PIA with its current revitalization plan needs technically qualified team players. Talented, energetic and self-motivated persons may become a part of our team to perform their duties in PIA. In this regard, applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the position of Technician (Machinist/ Bench Fitter). The eligible candidates must possess the qualifications/ experience mentioned below: Qualifications: Matriculation (Science) Experience: For Machinist: 01 year work experience as Miller/ Turner/ Grinder. For Bench Fitter: 01 year work experience as Bench Fitter. Professional Training/ Courses: Technical training in related field from recognized institute. Skills/ Special Requirements: For Machinist: - Can read Engineering Drawings. - Can use and design fixtures and tools. For Bench Fitter: - Can read Engineering Drawings. Selection Criteria: Selection will be based on interview and short listed candidates will undergo a practical test in the relevant category applied for. Maximum Age: 30 years as on 1st January, 2011. General age relaxation of 05 years of upper age limit shall also be available as allowed by Government of Pakistan.
