Job Title: TECHNICAL INSTRUCTORS - Job Code : TT-001 • Mechanical • Pipefitting • Electrical • Welding Scope: The Trainer is responsible for teaching all aspects of the Technical Training programs assigned to him (Training Centre and OJT), materials development and managing his program. The Trainer is also the assessor for the programs. Specific Duties: - Lead the classroom development and on-going maintenance of all training programs, course materials (theoretical and practical), procedures and assessments to satisfy the client and Awarding Body requirements. - Assist the senior Trainer in selecting a suitable team of technicians - Ensure that the equipment in the workshops and laboratories are suitable and adequate - Deliver theoretical and practical training. Assess trainee portfolios to the agreed External Verifier and Awarding Body standards. Assist in the training, development and certification of NVQ Assessors - Develop and manage teaching and assessment schedules, discipline the trainees he is responsible for when required, coach and train technicians where required Required Qualifications & Experience: - Minimum of a Diploma level qualification in an engineering/technical subject - Significant relevant industrial experience in the Oil & Gas industry, Oil Well Drilling & Work Over, Engineering & Maintenance, Welding & Pipefitting, Chemical / Petroleum Plant Operating - Minimum of 5 years training experience for Trainers desirable, although teacher training can be provided - Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentational skills - Excellent IT & presentation skills / Excellent English Language ability is essential - Curriculum development and training program delivery experience desirable Location: Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic in Dammam, Saudi Arabia Package: Very Attractive pay package - Salary paid in US$ (dependent upon experience and qualifications), Living allowance (in lieu of Accommodation + Transportation) healthcare, (For foreign candidates - annual flight allowance + baggage allowance, mobilisation/demobilisation flights).
