| Posted: HVAC DESIGN ENGINEER REQUIRED IMMEDIATELY AED 4,000 - 6,000 p.m. HVAC Design Engineer required, graduate of Mechanical Engineering, experience 3-5 years, should be proficient in AUTOCAD, Carrier HAP4.4, and other related design software, experience in industrial and marine HVAC Systems will be an added advantage. Detailed scope is as below: - Review contract, scope of work and specifications. - Preparation of Heat Load Calculations using Carrier HAP-4.4 or equivalent. - Selection of HVAC Equipment. - Preparation of Flow Diagrams, P&ID, D&ID and Layouts. - Preparation of Material Take Off's (MTO's) and Equipment/ Material Requisitions for HVAC. - Upon receiving vendor's proposals, review of the technical and commercial proposals and provide evaluation/ recommendations for selection and ordering. - Preparation of Equipment/ Material Approval Requests and follow up on approvals with client. - Preparation and updating all design and construction drawings related to HVAC and follow up on approvals. Qualifications: Graduate of a reputable University, with excellent academic achievement. 3-5 years experience in HVAC systems design and installations. Capable of carrying out heat load, psychometric, pump and fan head calculations, equipment selection, system design, duct & pipe sizing. Capable of developing duct layouts, sectional drawings and plant room designs. Hands-on experience of AutoCAD, MS Office, HVAC software's like Carrier HAP4.4, E20, ASHREA, SMACNA & DW144 standards. Experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning of HVAC system is an added advantage. Experience in Marine and Oil & Gas sector is preferred.
