| Document Archiving Specialist (Abu Dhabi) Posted: Candidate's Profile: - Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Records Management, Library Science, Information Technology or related sciences. - 8+ years experience in archiving and/or managing documents with at least 4 years in a supervisory role at a reputed organization. - Excellent bilingual (English & Arabic) skills, both written and spoken. - Good knowledge of policies, procedures and standards related to archiving and document management. - Excellent hands-on knowledge of electronic document management software preferably Documentum. - Excellent planning, analysis and report-writing skills. - Ability to process accumulated or backlog files in a systematic manner. Job Summary: - Classify, encode and arrange documents (paper and electronic) in the central archive. - Coordinate with other departments to implement policies and procedures of records/document management. - Classify and manage files in the archive as per standards. - Develop and enhance archival procedures in line with international standards and best practices. - Ensure the smooth functioning of the archive according to Standard Operational Procedures. - Provide support in electronic archiving in coordination with the concerned parties.
