| Posted: Role & Responsibilities: We require an academic leader, a mentor, who will enhance the unique learning environment in the school by creating a challenging but humane program for faculty and students. Major responsibilities of the Academic Leader shall include, but be not limited to: - Develop and implement school's long-term strategic plan in consultation with others. - Lead the comprehensive educational programs (academic, co-curricular, sports & development programs) with a healthy learning environment for students and staff. - Enhance academic and examination performance of the school. Encourage the students to be independent thinkers and life-long learners. - Operate the school in a disciplined and well organized manner. Qualification & Experience: - A Masters degree from a high quality University, with at least a B.Ed degree. - At least 7 years experience as Principal of a reputed private school with student strength of 1000+. - Age range: 50 to 55 years. - Provable experience in introducing new projects and information technology based concepts in school. - Overseas qualifications, experience and travelling will be an advantage. Core Skills: - Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. - Strong leadership & people management skills. ' - Ability to continuously bring about improvements in the system in order to produce outstanding and well rounded students. - Knowledge of good practices in education from ECD to High school and 'O'levels including use of I.T.
