| Posted: Warehouse Supervisor (Indian or Sri Lankan) Job Purpose Supervision and operation of logistics and warehouse activities; liaison with customs, clearing agents, sales and finance teams; stock management and ensuring timely delivery to customers along with systematic completion of related documentation. Duties and Responsibilities - Overseeing the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of automotive spare parts. - Overseeing picking, packing and distribution activities. - Communicating with other departments, i.e. customs, logistics and transportation. - Ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met and taking responsibility for the security of the building and stock. - Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met. - Overseeing stock control and processing orders. - Coordinating the use of automated and computerized systems. - Responding to and dealing with customer communication by email, fax and telephone. - Keeping stock control systems up to date. - Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. - Visiting key customers to monitor the quality of service they are receiving. - Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment. - Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment. - Other related tasks assigned from time to time. Warehouse Coordinator - Ref : Tec 03 Job description: - Responsible for receiving the materials from the suppliers after the required quality check. - Authenticating the goods in the received shipments and maintaining note of any discrepancies. Ensuring the proper handling and storage of goods. - Issue the material to the production as per the authorized material request. - Maintain the material receipt and issuance data through the operating system ( SAP). - Issue Inventory report, IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, goods age report, consumption report etc to the functional head.
