Assistant Warehouse Supervisor (Pakistan)

Attractive salary package will be offered to the right candidates. Assistant Warehouse Supervisor Key Job Responsibilities Ensure correct and safe storage of all spares and consumables taking into account supplier's recommendations and MSDS including shelf life of stock. - Ensure recording of receipt of material, getting it inspected by engineer concerned. Follow up with supplier and technical officer for clarifications on wrongly supplied items and timely delivery of short supplied items. - Effective use of store softwares (Mainsaver) for receiving, issuing, returning of materials and raising, receiving, closing of POs. - Ensure proper packing, documentation and transportation of ali export shipments and follow up with forwarders and clearing agents. - Identification of surplus and /or duplicate stock holding with a view to reduce inventory held. - Ensure preparation of monthly store reports and send them to finance. Resolve problems relating to Store Data with coordination of finance section. - Liaising with Engineers regarding correct description of stock items and to confirm correctness of duplicity found. - Learn local procedures/Instructions related to his area of responsibilities. - Perform any other relevant task assigned by the Manager Stores. Required Credentials Graduate (Commerce/Science) and 6 years of experience in warehousing operations in a engineering concern preferably a power plant. - Working knowledge of material handling, equipment, safety guidelines, and warehouse management systems and processes. - Knowledge in the areas of safe storage of potentially hazardous goods. - Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office. The experience on store related software especially Mainsaver would be preferable. - Good organizational stems. - Basic Knowledge of procurement procedures. - Communication skills necessary to produce required correspondence. - Fast and accurate data entry skills. - Excellent face-to-face, verbal and written communication skills; excellent mannerism. - Willing to take responsibilities. Energetic and enthusiastic in performing his duties. - Storeman Technicians retired from Army Corps of EME and Ordinance can also apply.
