| Posted: A leading International Construction Company requires for its Civil Building and Road Projects in Qatar: Procurement Manager: - The role operates as part of a team of buyers, expending and logistics officers in carrying out planning development and managing all procurement and contractual aspects related to procurement. - All relevant information about the project, including schedules and list of plant and machinery to be procured and generate the procurement project procurement plan. - Carry out vendor management, control agreed policies and procedures as well as implement health and safety procedures. - Have strong procurement, sourcing and contract knowledge as well as specific experience in management with authority to reduce costs-, implement reduction policies, validate vendor payments and major transactions. - Have a strong analytical and negotiating ability with a solid attention to detail and communication skills, Qualification and Experience: Hold an Engineering Degree with a minimum of 15+ years experience in procurement in large construction organizations.
