| Posted: SMIT Subsea Middle East LLC has the following vacancy in the UAE: Mechanical Technician Qualifications: Mechanical or Technical qualification from a reputed institution, along with a proven track record in the mechanical or technical field, preferably in diving, marine or oilfield operations. He should be an experienced field technician who can maintain cranes and associated hydraulic systems. Experience in earthmoving plants would be an added advantage. Job Responsibilities: Operation and maintenance of hydraulic systems, rams and winches. Operation maintenance and certification of cranes and A-frame lifting system, including wires and terminations. Be able to liaise with electrical technicians on the overall system safe operation and performance. Responsible for identifying and maintaining spares and tools for the above maintenance operations.
