A leading Multinational Pharmaceutical Company located in Dubai Healthcare City is seeking to fill the following position: Quality Assurance and Pharmacovigilance Pharmacist Reporting to the Regional Quality Compliance and Pharmacovigilance Manager, the objective of this role is to maintain and adhere to good storage and distribution practice (GSDP) policies and procedures and quality assurance for all products with distributors, contract manufacturing organizations of MENA region in accordance with corporate and regional requirements. The position holder should have the ability to follow corrective action/ preventive action measures as suggested by the Lead Auditor in GSDP audits in MENA, ensuring strict compliance with GSDP standards. In addition, the position will manage drug safety procedures according to Regional Centre Pharmacovigilance requirements and to act as the Assistant Pharmacovigilance Officer ensuring accurate and prompt reporting of adverse events occurring in the MENA region. The ideal candidate should hold a UAE MOH license and have prior experience in a local Pharmacist function in the pharmaceutical industry. Should have respect for confidentiality and business ethics and a strong sense of ownership and commitment. The candidate must also have good negotiation, presentation and analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic, knowledge of French will be an advantage, and a valid local driving license.
