Posted: ADJUNCT ENGLISH FACULTY We are currently looking for energetic and tech-savvy Adjunct English Faculty members for contracts commencing in August 2011. These are temporary/ part-time contracts for the duration of First Semester until the beginning of February 2012. Teaching hours will vary depending on the college, but the average Adjunct Faculty member has approximately 20 teaching hours per week. Upon successful completion of the contract, Adjunct Faculty members may be considered for contract renewals or have the opportunity to apply for full-time Faculty vacancies. Adjunct Faculty are temporary teaching staff employed at each college to prepare and deliver English lessons, as well as assess students' performance in English at Diploma, Higher Diploma and Bachelor levels. All teachers work in a team-oriented environment using state-of-the-art technology to enhance teaching and learning opportunities. Requirements: - A Bachelor's Degree with a TEFL Diploma, though a Master's Degree in TEFL is preferred - 3 years of teaching experience - Current residency in the UAE - A "No Objection Certificate" or "NOC Letter" from your current employer (if applicable) Adjunct Faculty members are offered a competitive hourly salary. Please note that accommodation and visa sponsorship are not offered in these contracts. |
