Job Description:
Oversee Optical Fiber Network for the designated area.
Rectify remote and on site equipment failures of SDH & DWDM equipment and their escalation to NOC level II team.
Follow up with Level II team and subcontractors for fault diagnostics and clearance.
Respondto emergency situations on an on-call basis as assigned so as to mobilize to the fault to rectify the fiber cut or equipment replacement in case of critical faults.
Coordinate with subcontractor on day to day activities; provide feedback to management on subcontractors performance/ongoing issues through proper documentation.
Maintain an inventory of the test equipment & tools and ensure that test equipment is properly calibrated.
Ensure Service KPIs related to troubleshooting, escalation and fault management are met.
Assist RM in acceptance, testing and HO/TO activity.
Manage on site correction of performance degraded links highlighted by the Regional Manager.
