| Internal Audit Manager (Dubai) Posted: We are seeking a full-time employee for the following position: Internal Audit Manager (Retail Operations) The ideal candidate should be a qualified CA / CPA / ACCA / CIA possessing a minimum of 8 years of audit experience with 2 years in a managerial (AM / Manager) capacity. He / she should have very good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus). Good knowledge of computerized accounting and proficiency in AS and HA standards are essential. Preference will be given to Arabic speakers having audit experience in retail business. Key Responsibilities - Perform a risk assessment during the planning stage of the assigned project portfolio and participate in the development of the overall risk-based annual audit plan. - Manage and deliver audit projects in accordance with the annual plan and perform assigned audit fieldwork. - Development of Internal controls questionnaires, audit programs, and detailed audit work papers incorporating test schedules, observations, audit conclusions and ensuring that audit objectives are satisfactorily achieved. - Manage the resources within the assigned team and ensuring timely completion of audit projects. - Explore alternative courses of action for correcting control weaknesses, resolving operating problems or improving performance, and evaluate recommendations presented by the Audit Supervisor / Senior. - Perform / supervise Ad-hoc investigations as required by the Senior Audit Management. - Assist Audit Management with high quality inputs in policy / process formulations in financial and operation management as required. Travel: The position requires the job holder to travel to the company's operation sites in MENA area. Travelling up to 40% will be required.
