JUNIOR PROCUREMENT ENGINEER: B.Sc./ BE/ Diploma - Civil Engineer, with minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Estimator/ Quantity Surveyor/ Procurement Engineer in building construction, with at least 2 years experience in the UAE. Key tasks and responsibilities include studying the project documents, performing technical evaluation, preparing bid invitation documentation, floating RFQs to vendors with relevant package documents, technical evaluation of the proposals, compliance statements, commercial evaluation of proposals and preparing comparison sheets. PROCUREMENT ENGINEER: B.Sc./ BE - Civil Engineer, with minimum 5-10 years of experience as a Procurement Engineer in building construction, at least 5 years experience in the UAE. Key skills required are knowledge of FIDIC law and contractual terms & conditions. Key tasks and responsibilities include studying the project documents, preparing procurement schedules, performing technical evaluations, vendor prequalifications, preparing project vendors list, floating RFQ to vendors with relevant documents, technical evaluation of the proposals and compliance statements, commercial evaluation of proposals, negotiating prices for different packages and preparing comparison reports and RFA for approval, preparing letters of intent, sub-contract agreements and variations, following up with sub-contractor variations, analyzing the cost effect for alternative proposals, measuring the quantities with BOQ, budget and sub-contract offers.
