Project Manager (Web Development) (Karachi) Posted: Applications, is looking for a dynamic and energetic individual for following position at our Karachi office. Position Summary: The Project Manager's Primary responsibility is to manage and execute development of large scale, highly functional database - driven websites, content management systems, online marketing projects and acts as a liaison between the developers, designers and US/UK based clients. Key Skills: - Manages the project team through creation of detailed and accurate project definition, estimates, functional specifications, schedules, timelines and written status reports throughout the development process. - Provides periodic status reports, project tracking updates and overall assessments to other team members. - Manages resources for the project, including utilization of team resources, documenting all aspects of project development. - Manage scope, including identifying issues and working on resolution plans. PMP-Project management Certified Must be fluent in English (written S verbal). This position requires a minimum of 3 years of project management experience, including: - Internet and/or software development, software and/or systems integration consulting. - Web development skills, including familiarity with programming in ASP, PHP, and JavaScript, and with using web development tools such as Dreamweaver. - Familiarity with using databases such as My-SQL Access and SQL Server - Strong Organization, communication and motivational skills. Knowledge and experience managing website projects, using project plan management software & reporting. - Experience of working closely with US/UK entities.
