| Posted: The primary purpose of the Community Manager is to launch ANM's community strategy to convert existing or potential readers to become paid community members and to establish member value in the form of gifts, product/service promotions, related events and other appropriate added value offerings. Key Expectations: - Launch the respective Al Nisr Media communities. - Develop marketing strategies for the ANM community brands, inclusive of communication plans, promotions, sponsorship recommendations and research projects, as well as ad hoc projects or initiatives. - Achieve membership volume targets for each brand. - Create additional member value by securing sponsorships/partnerships with product/service suppliers. - Organize events related to each community and brand. - Effective internal and external relationship management so as to ensure effective implementation of strategies. - Be accountable for budget planning and implementation. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: - Knowledge of the UAE and Middle East markets -marketing and media players, cultural influences, population statistics, key business organisations and their key personnel, promotions and event suppliers, competitor organisations. - Understanding of financial aspects as it relates to' budget preparation and management. - Good analytical, communication, project management and presentation skills. - Good interpersonal skills, with skills in conflict / issue resolution and partner negotiations. - Good leadership skills with the ability to delegate and co-ordinate efforts between business units/teams. - Diligent and goal-orientated. - Proactive with sense of urgency. - The ideal candidate would have a marketing related tertiary qualification (certificate or degree), and have at least 5+ years experience in marketing, promotions and management.
