| Sr. Estimator and Lead Estimator (Dubai) Posted: A reputable construction company based in Dubai is seeking to recruit candidates for the following positions: Sr. Estimator Requirements: - Civil Engineering graduate, with 7 to 10 years of experience and minimum 4 years in estimation, preferably in the MENA region. - Must have knowledge of the use of estimation software, must be able to build up rates and prices from basic principles. - Capable of dealing independently with parties/ consultants for correspondence and liaison. - Proficiency in English and Arabic is a must Lead Estimator Requirements: - Over 10 years of experience, including minimum 6 years estimation experience, with experience focused on major developments in the MENA region. A presentable person with a strong personality who is capable of defending their estimate and negotiating / reaching agreements with partners. - Lead and manage the investigation, coordination and preparation of bid proposals within the prescribed time limits. - Assume overall estimate preparation responsibility including developing specific constructions methods. - Estimation of indirect & direct costs from basic principles. - Knowledge of estimation software preferred. - Participate In risk assessments and collate input into final proposals. - Participate in commercial and technical negotiations with partners and clients. - Fluency in English is a must.
